Jimmy Eat World: Clarity

It’s too bad that I don’t live on one of the stops for Jimmy Eat World’s current Clarity X 10 Tour. “Clarity” easily ranks in my top 10 albums of all time. The flow, Mark Trombino’s production skills and Goodbye Sky Harbour make this album a classic for me.

With the 10 year release anniversary for “Clarity” fast approaching I find myself reflecting on a few things. Firstly, I think about the amazing show I witnessed in Buffalo at The Showplace Theatre back in March (the 19th I believe), 1999 where I saw Sense Field and Jimmy Eat World play back to back. Secondly, I think about how old I’m starting to get. Thirdly, Showplace Theatre shows make me think about the Mighty Taco up the street and how tasty Mighty Taco is.

Check out “Goodbye Sky Harbour” from this show (Thanks for letting me relive the past Lake Erie Monster!):

Holy crap. Those were some good times. “Goodbye Sky Harbour” live always makes me head bang because Jimmy Eat World play it so hard.

Digg it!
